Request.multipart.file?

#1

In a response to this question, I saw @virk used this line:

request.multipart.file(...)

But in the documentatin, there is no such multipart key for Request object.

Nothing like that in Node.js either. From where does that come?

Is it because earlier on in the post @virk says

First disable autoProcessing of files inside config/bodyParser.js .

For all file uploads

autoProcess: false

For single route

autoProcess: true,
processManually: ['your-route']

Next, access the multipart object on the request object as follows.

I’m not sure, but it might be because he is assuming you have turned off autoprocessing.

Thank you for the feedback but I read carefully everything @virk wrote following that question and I did not find there an answer to what I highlighted in my question.

I found the answer in the documentation itself, just read about the file uploads here.
